To what are you willfully blind?

Another inspiring and really well presented TED talk by Margaret Heffernan who's been investigating "willful blindness": failing to know what we could and should know. This pervasive cognitive weakness which explains why we have the words "wishful thinking" and "self-deception" permits the perpetuation of false and harmful ideas from the provincial and mundane to the global and epic.

In what bubbles, insulated by the walls of willful blindness, are we living?
