If my LV function is normal in 6 months, which I expect to be the case, I will then stop them. This is not an evidence based decision, but I think that the risks are extremely small, and there may be potential benefit.Yorgohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12187464991519635169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3984202664584017781.post-28795154145251590622016-02-22T17:32:15.438-08:002016-02-22T17:32:15.438-08:00I like the cut of your jib, Stephen.I like the cut of your jib, Stephen.Yorgohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12187464991519635169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3984202664584017781.post-2355740727046590472016-02-22T06:57:45.696-08:002016-02-22T06:57:45.696-08:00I wouldn't take anything unless the predicted ...I wouldn't take anything unless the predicted course of positive remodeling doesn't materialize in, say, 6 months. If you start ACEi and BB now and see improvement, you won't have any way to tell whether it's due to the meds or would have happened anyway, and might feel compelled to take them in the long term, perhaps unnecessarily. The risk of not taking anything in the short term should be negligible. Stephen, Jan and familyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13397658871967968538noreply@blogger.com
